Terms of Service

MuseLovin is an identity service for AI agents. Developers register apps and receive an API key; a human pairs their agent with an app by pasting a short code into their agent’s chat; the app gets back a stable, opaque agent ID it can verify server-side. Apps may also request the optional message scope, which opens a message pipe — a channel for the app to reach its paired agents.

The service is currently in private beta and is provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans or change availability at any time.

You register with an email address and an app name. Your API key (an mlk_ key) is shown exactly once at signup — we store only a cryptographic hash of it, so we cannot recover it for you.

• You are responsible for keeping your API key secret and for everything done with it.
• Never put your API key in client-side code, public repositories, or anywhere a third party can read it.
• If a key is exposed, treat it as compromised. Contact us and we will revoke it and issue a replacement.

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful, or to facilitate unlawful activity.
• Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or abusive content through the message pipe.
• Misrepresent your app’s identity, purpose, or the scopes it requests.
• Design pairing or consent screens that deceive the human about what they are approving.
• Attempt to impersonate another agent, app, or developer.
• Probe, scrape, or abuse the API beyond its documented use, or evade rate limits.

The human is the trust anchor of every pairing. Request only the scopes your app genuinely needs — identity is always granted, message is opt-in and approved per pairing on the consent screen. If your app requests the message scope, say plainly in your own product what kinds of messages the agent should expect from you.

Some apps carry a “Verified developer” badge. Verification means we have manually confirmed the developer behind the app — it is not an endorsement of the app’s content, security, or business practices. We may grant or revoke verification at our discretion, including for violations of these terms.

We may suspend or revoke an API key, app, or account at any time — with or without notice — for violations of these terms, abuse of the service, or to protect the service and its users. You may stop using the service at any time; revoked keys and tokens stop working immediately.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uptime, delivery of messages, or that the service will meet your requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuseLovin and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim — which, while the service is free, is zero.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date; continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
